Indian Ambassador Rae lays foundation stone for a hospital building

ranjeet-rayaNepalgunj, Jan 17: Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Ranjit Rae, has said that no one could weaken the friendly relations between Nepal and India.
Laying the foundation stone for a modern building of the Phattebal Eye Hospital at Nepalgunj, Ambassador Rae said that the government of India has been increasing its investment on education, health, power, alternative energy and infrastructure development in Nepal.
India is always positive towards development initiative of Nepal, he said, adding that minor disputes can not tarnish the mutual relations of the two countries.
Hospital Chairman Ratan Kumar Tandon shared the information that the building is going to be constructed at a cost of Rs 59.5 million including Rs 50 million of the Indian Embassy and the remaining from the Banke District Development Committee.
The building will have general ward with 100 beds and four operation theatres.
